Inequality and discrimination
In the morning session we had a constructive discussion on inequality that started with a visualisation exercise. What we had to do was to put ourselves in the shoes of a given character of different background, using the method known as ''Step Forward''.
This was followed by various activities in which we discussed emotions and the communication of emotions as an intro to NVC (Non-violent communication).
NVC (Non-violent communication)
NVC is a method developed by Marshal Rosenberg, that allows us to properly communicate about our observations, feelings, needs and requests.
We worked individually, in pairs and in a group and we had an opportunity to use it and to practice it on our own experiences and specific situations.
The day was concluded by our personal evaluation and by exchanging motivational and encouraging messages among one another.
